• How did you decide on your posting name and the name of your blog? 

I already had a gmail account under maverick1492 because I've liked the name maverick ever since I saw Top Gun as a child and I add 1492 to all my usernames because I was born on Columbus Day and "in 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue". Plus it cuts down on the amount of times websites tell me "I'm sorry but that name is already taken." The title of my blog is based on the fact that my heart has stopped long enough for me to be declared dead three times so far in life and yet I'm still here.

• What was your experience in creating the blog? Was it hard for you or easy? Why?

Creating the blog was pretty simple, even though this was my first blog, because Blogger was very helpful as was our professor. Plus I enjoy technology and I've always thought about creating a blog but then what would I use my Facebook for?

• How does your avatar reflect your personality? Did you create an avatar that looks like your real self or someone totally different? Why?

It reflects me because it's wearing my usual combination of polo shirt, jeans, and black tennis shoes, which is what I wear almost exclusively not counting the gym and pool(which would just be weird). Because I couldn't find my military haircut I gave it one that resembles what my hair used to look like. It's got headphones on because I try to always have my iPod with me and as I walk around campus I'm in my own world of Rise Against, System of a Down, and Skillet. I also gave him an Xbox because while I have severely cut back on my playing time I still do enjoy the stress release video games provide. Die fictional pixelated bad guys!!
